Swiss graphic artist Kimou Meyer aka Grotesk has been a fave of mine for years ever since I came accross his work in Jux. Now living in Brooklyn, Grotesk is the creative director at Zoo York, and also a consultant for fashion companies and ad agencies. You've def seen his sick work on Upper Playground shirts or even on the Cool kids' BAKE SALE cd cover(2iLL.) Definetly reproducing pieces and making his own. Which is what its all about, being able to recognize your work even without reading the artist label. Props Gro. mad style + mad individuality. & who dares to hate on his o.s. hip hop references??? +++++++
