Sometimes we can relate a piece to our past experiences and name it ART. If you think about it there's art in everything.
The art of Love. The art of Hate.. then the actual art of Picasso or of De Vinci... or the art of Violence or of music, etc.. Art is everywhere in every shape and form, but most importantly art is anything you make it. Nobody said art had to please or be pretty. Whatever you can define based on your intrests & knowledge is art. Some people can sit there looking at Harring pieces or Basquiat pieces wondering what the fuck? (i'd think you're crazy but hey, lol) Maybe these artists just aim at that. You gotta experiment right? Nobody said that our thoughts on paper had to please everybody. Don't even get me started on my opinion with art critics... my responce stays dry & those people are useless.
Because really a human can't really go and judge someone elses thought in art form. Besides who can we please these days anyway...
If i havn't made it clear enough lately with all my posts I just wanna say it one more time. Be Yourself when creating something. Don't bite someone else's work either, because you know it's already been done. Dig deep and CREATE your own individual style. Truly people will hate... but others will definetly LOVE the way you make their mind think of your ART. So yeah mr. Warhol thanks for the thought.
Art is indeed what you can get away with.
