FUCKING FINALLY!

Let me just begin by saying that this isn't a review about the album.It is just me expressing my deep appreciation for the O.G's of pop punk/rock. 8 YEARS!!! 8 DAMN YEARS! Tom, Mark & Travis unite again to bring us Neighborhoods (which btw a major shout-out to MIKE GIANT for such a creative album cover). Now okay so... after reading a lot about the making of this album seems like it was tedious yet persistent project that these boys wanted to get done(death of DJ AM, death of the bands producer, the bands damn EGO!) ANYWAY, the result: Who gives a f*ck!!!!!!!! These dudes are finally back again, "indefinite hiatus" bullsh!t aside! I am digesting this album as if I am a kid who received their first meal. (I kid you not!)
The boys do seem a bit more serious and dark on a couple of tracks and I hate the thought that they have definitely grown & matured in some ways (I don't think we'll see them running naked in the streets no mo') But hey, we all grow up and we all need to progress. I forget these boys are men now...Arghhh I actually refuse to forget.

Anyway, if you miss the old blink, well that's what the old albums are for. I'm grateful for anything new from these guys. I still haven't seen them live and I would of cried 8 years ago when I thought the band broke up for good, seems like everyone's heart was just torn apart, lol.
But see god is great...& By god I meant TOM F*ck!ng DELONGE!!! The album is great though! So definitely lend Neighborhoods an ear! It'll grow on you, if you grew up listening to em'.
