This past week has been absolute madness to me and my brother-from- another-mother Spyda. My town of Montreal welcomed my favorite writers for the Can You Rock Graffiti Jam. Shit was too ill. Names like the legendary Cope2, Sen2, Rubin, Pun 18, Deem, The Royal King Bee, Logek and many more came down to party it up at the A'shop & beautify our paper factory building with some good old fashion spray painting goodness. Not too mention the amazing local talent of the 123 Klan and the Montreal Mooks to add to the mix.
The 4 day event was too dope and truthfully very overwhelming for a kid like me. But you gotta love it man, the fact that art brings everyone together. Since everything has gone digital, no one does shit like this anymore. With Graffiti though, you get to celebrate a passion, one that takes great effort and that cannot be digitized. Got to paint, show my respects and snap a couple flicks for the event.
